Dear Diary,
I've decided I want to make a blog. Admittedly, this is the second time I've said I'd do this, but my first attempt was immediately interrupted by real life commitments and also I regretted the name I chose for my blog immediately after creating it. This time around, I'm choosing to keep things more conservative, not as forced and eclectic. On that note, you've probably noticed my style is relatively formal, this is largely for two reasons: A. I'm a pretty clean person IRL, so my thinking is that by keeping my blog tidy it may help me stay more dedicated, and B. I'm not a well-spoken person or a good writer, so hopefully forcing myself to write in a more structured way will mitigate that. My reason for blogging is cliché and earnest, I think it might be a good way to keep in touch with myself and I think the company of this site might motivate me to add entries more regularly.
Here's a (rough) list of things I will probably post about, in no particular order:

• Thoughts about how things are going in my real life
  
• Some thoughts about the state of the Soysphere
  
• Progress reports on how I waste my time
  
• If I have some project I'm doing or thinking about doing, regardless if it's related to the Soysphere, I might put down my thoughts on it here
  

This list is liable to change as interests or what I care to write about evolve. Later today, I'll make at least one more entry, maybe a rundown on my current interests and activities so that future posts that might be more concentrated on one of those things will have a nice little initial post to point back to.
