Chud6: Gemerald, but for their credit, "picture" here in this case very likely means icons depicting their god or another figure like MUTThammad, in other words a verse that supports iconoclasm.
Chud7: @Chud: I also should add that I'm a Christian too, and I support iconoclasm because it's also scriptural. Mudslimes got one thing right at least.
Chud8: @Chud: no, it means any depiction of a living or animated being, be it human, animal, spirit or fictional cartoon character, via medium of illustration, painting, photography, sculpture, video etc. the muslim god is so petty that any depiction of another being is tantamount to idol worship of another diety.
Chud11: @Chud: No, other hadith suggest that it's any picture. There are several of these narrated by Aisha where she says he got angry at curtains or cushions with pictures of animals. This is why many islamic sites are decorated with nothing but writings and calligraphy. For instance
Sahih al-Bukhari 6109
Narrated `Aisha:
The Prophet (salla Allah `alayhi wa-sallam) entered upon me while there was a curtain having pictures (of animals) in the house. His face got red with anger, and then he got hold of the curtain and tore it into pieces. The Prophet (salla Allah `alayhi wa-sallam) said, "Such people as paint these pictures will receive the severest punishment on the Day of Resurrection ."
>Jesus BVLL using obvious hyperbole to stop people from being lustful is equivalent to muh#mmad literally having a meltdown and destroying some poor sods house because they had literally just animal pictures (no p#ganry)
