parting of the red sea and chudjak's appearance in general are pretty obvious references, isn't that good enough?

Genodile: @Chud⁸: I traced it from the statue of vagabond on the Olkhon island. Its based on the song that WAS IN THE SOURCE but now removed.
The song is old russian song about a prisoner escaping from the prions in Zabaikalije, wandering though the steppes, then swimming across the Baikal Sea on the fishing boat to get back to his family. He meets his mother and ask about where's his father and brother, mother says that his father is long dead and buried and his brother is chained and in Siberian prison camp.
