if you want a good lightweight editor is visual studio code, otherwise if you really want an IDE pycharms is amazing

python is fucking amazing only guy i remember hating on it was a hypocrite pedophile who liked to brag about owning child porn and lied to my face about why he had a lolicon flag on his shitty mod for a random game i dont care about
claude is mid start hosting local models so you don't get vendor lock in
besides, claude code is a shitty slow typescript tui thats practically made to make you pay more why not go for like opencode or visual studio code's built in copilot stuff
