For 100 million years, at the bottom of the deepest dustiest abyss, deep in a sea of tar stretched beyond the horizon, the blackest magma rock brimstone smoulders. As it stirs, awakes from its slumber and raises its hideous countenance, the whole 'arty trembles in fear and hopelessness, knowing that it only hungers for the dreams of innocent gem appreciators. Clawing its way out of this mine of despair, the tar-scorched, lifeless rock face exhales storm clouds of sulphurous smoke and ash that herald its arrival on the surface. It encompasses the entire world with its suffocating darkness, not even the light of a thousand suns can pierce it. The hope of any gem ever being posted again is lost, the light of the world extinguished under its bottomless shroud of scoria.
