I have never seen a pc-98 fan that wasn't a troon
Every fandom not overrun by nogs and other tourists is going to have trannies, especially one that niche.

Nature loves balance, I guess
Note that a lot of troons are autists, and a lot of those autists were just typical nerds in niche internet forums back in the noughts, then Tumblr influence spread to the whole internet and, to say the least, the status quo changed irreversably.
The most notable examples of figureheads involved with the collision of old internet communities (like 4cuck, SA, or other niche places) with modern pozholes (tumblr, pre-elon xitter) would be (((Toby Fox))) (from Earthbound hacks on starman and involvement with der 'stuck to Troondertale/Deltatrune) and Andrew Hussie (from comics on SA to TSO/MSPA to Homestuck).
A lot of these people aren't transitioned chuds, but were already somewhat progressive (Toby Fox said slurs in earlier Earthbound hacks, but he still tolerated gays or something idk (what he meant back then weren't those faggy 'cord femgoys, but gachimuchi/cho aniki buff types))
