Hey buddy, hey pal, do you want to know what I, a Greek Orthodox Christian, think of Muslims? Arab and muslim scholars in general hold great respect for the Eastern Roman Empire. Muslim students learn about it, especially in Sirah classes, and they are amazed by it. Arabs treated Eastern Rome's scholars and society reverentially, as the Romans were the only European civilization the Arabs didn't view as barbaric and unclean. Likewise, the Eastern Romans treated the Islamic caliphate as their equals, it's merely mutual respect.
On the contrary, western schools don't teach about Eastern Rome, they mostly talk about how "Rome le hecking fell in the 400s" and forget everything else that came afterwards, especially lots of Christian history. 1000 years of Eastern Roman history is given, like, half a page on a school book, while other miniscule shit is given entire chapters. It's preposterous.
I don't agree with muslim ideology, but I respect Arab scholars and teachers for enlightening the youth on Eastern Rome and just how influential it was, unlike the nu-west's satanic leagues who are trying to memoryhole Eastern Rome from ever existing. It's shameful
