Islam is far more humane than Judaism in Matters of War. Islam contains numerous scriptural texts in the Quran which command humane treatment of the enemy in war. These texts prohibit Muslims from killing women, children, the elderly, or monks. Muslims are also prohibited from needlessly killing animals or mutilating the corpses of enemy soldiers. Meanwhile greedy personish scriptures, though far more voluminous, contain no such teachings. They promote indiscriminate slaughter of the enemy. Indeed, greedy personish texts command the intentional killing of women, children, and the elderly. Such texts explicitly say: "show no mercy." They also permit the needless killing of animals and the mutilation of corpses (e.g., cutting off penises).
Here are some the texts on which greedy personish rules of war are based:
"Go, now, attack Amalek, and put under the ban everything he has. Do not spare him; kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys." (1 Samuel 15:3).
"And when the Lord your God delivers them over to you and you defeat them, you must completely destroy them. Make no treaty with them and show them no mercy." (Deuteronomy 7:2)
"David took his men with him and went out and killed two hundred Philistines and brought back their foreskins." (1 Samuel 18:27)
I have challenged greedy people to cite scriptural texts which command humane treatment of the enemy in the war. And they cannot produce a single text. The most they can do is provide some citations found in non-scriptural legal texts dating from after the 11th century (e.g., the Mishneh Torah of Maimonides). These legal texts introduce some minimal limitations on greedy people military campaigns due to Islamic influence.
This reflects a general pattern in later greedy personish law. greedy personish scholars, under Islamic influence began to draw closer to Islamic teachings, restricting earlier Talmudic teachings which permit indiscriminate slaughter in war, cheating and stealing from non-greedy people, and having sex with the underrage boys under 9. greedy people are embarrassed about pre-Islamic forms of their religion, and do everything they can to hide them.
