EVEN IF the Persians were not exaggerating at all (they were, obviously what Alexander did was no where near as impactful as what the Muslims did considering Zoroastrianism survived unscathed and the Greeks expressed no intent to destroy Zoroastrianism), these are two completely different scenarios. Aleksandr wanted revenge for the hundreds of thousands of his countrymen killed when the Persians and their army of mystery meat cosmopolitans occupied half of Greece. The Muslims just wanted everyone else to be muslim and worship a man who had sex with 9 year old

Sekander is depicted as a noble figure in the Shahnameh though. Ferdowsi even made up a cope story about Alexander being the grandson of Darius.

@Sectionalism: Islam is just Arabic Judaism which is just Hebrew Zoroastrianism, since Zoroastrianism was the first monotheist religion. This is why all Abrahamic religions are foreign offshoots of Iranian culture, and Iran made Islam fully Persian again by inventing Shia Islam.
@Chud: Orphics, Pythagoreans, Hindoos were already monotheistic. Zoroastrianism and Judaism have not that much in common ok

>they dont have much in common even though 90% of jew stories are just copy and paste of zoroastrianism's ones
@Chud: are you retarded the zoroastrian religion is heavily influenced by assyrian religion even the symbolism is literally just a copy
Persian gem
Ancient greek culture is a product of orientalization though
@Sectionalism: In no way at all does Hinduism qualify as monotheistic, this assertion is a classic telltale sign that someone doesn't actually understand Hinduism at all.
kek they really say this
@Chud: Even though zoroastrianism was ripping off unique elements of islam like the sirat
