I wonder if gender affirmative "treatment" will be seen as such and whether or not it will be seen as wholly unfounded and destructive like lobotomy as a treatment if or rather when the damage and criticism grows further or if there is actually partial merit to it as a treatment to the problems of people now described as "gender dysphoria".
