This alone is ENOUGH to explain social phenomena in most cases, though some social phenomena could be influenced by war or even the threat of it, but this is hardly what most people think of when they think of the word "conspiracy theory". Conspiracy theories treat social phenomena as being totally manufactured by the elites/greedy people/freemasons/jesuits, but in reality those aforementioned groups are also a part of the social collective.
