no longer do 'teens praise newGODS, or spam invites, or participate in raids for the sake of being YPA, or hate tranime, or go along with any weird joke or schizopost made, or make ugly people leak. no longer are the userbase united under any ideals, a hatred for 4chad, a shared identity as soyteens, a longing to avenge the qway, a desire to watch the site grow.
the values which we held dear, defended with every fiber of our being, tried our damnedest to uphold, swore to never forget. those have eroded entirely. the userbase have rejected and spat upon them, and actively subverted them. all that time we spent attempting to forge our own identity, trying to prove that we are different and better than 4chad, making our individuality and rejection of traditional imageboard culture known, it was all for nothing. we've forgotten why we hated 4chad in the first place. our valuable wisdom, which told us that 4chan's culture was INHERENTLY bad, that it was always doomed to fail, that we need to act in direct opposition to it lest we become exactly like them, is now merely a distant memory. in the end, we've become everything we once hated.
we no longer accept newGODS. we no longer encourage raids and OC. we no longer wish for site growth. we no longer play into jokes. we no longer hate tranime. we no longer reject cuteness while embracing the ugly and repulsive. we no longer hate ugly people. we no longer view all other sites as inferior to us. we no longer take pride in using the sharty. and now, we're no longer 'teens.
the only thing differentiating this site from 4chad is rule 2. our whole identity is hating diddys. this is why we talk about 'p all the time. this is why we talk about EPI all the time. this is why we can no longer raid anything or anyone that isn't a literal long-dead websiteblvd lest the raid get derailed. this is why we throw diddy allegations at everyone we dislike. this is why it feels as though you literally CAN'T dislike something unless you can also spin it as diddyphilic. people often blame newGODS, or underageGODS, or whatever for this cultural shift, and I assume that's what this rule is attempting to address, but really, they aren't to blame at all. the reason people obsess over diddyphilia is because hating diddybluds is the last bastion of the site's cultural unity. it's the ONLY thing that the userbase can agree on, and it's the only thing we can be sure won't change, due to rule 2 ensuring that it doesn't. the purity spiral is the only thing keeping the site kicking, it's the only thing that makes soyteens feel alive. when 'teens call people diddys, or accuse random images of being EPI or having embedded 'p, that's their attempt at unifying the site against a common enemy. it gives them a taste of the relatively unified culture the site once had, the culture that built this site and made it habitable, the culture that no longer exists.
