@Gigachud_Xx: not reading this since im pretty sure i already know what this will be about, but the talmud is a 1000 year old book where rabbis discussed laws based on interpretations of the torah, they used the age of 3 as an absolute minimum since they believed that it was the age when the hymen "stopped regenerating", but even back then it was pretty rare for an adult to marry a 3-year-old, the talmud contains many important rulings that are still applied today but some of them are entirely contextual and obsolete now that we have more knoweldge, and this is one of them. Sadly child marriages were incredibly normal back then, they did not understand how harmful it was to the kid, and this act was practiced almost everywhere (aoc in delaware was 7 until some decades ago). Even though most greedy people can obviously understand the contextual and now obsolete nature of these ancient rulings, a few criminal extremely ultra-orthodox greedy people might sadly use it to justify diddyphilia in the modern day, just like how certain sunni muslims will use Aishas marriage to Muhammad to justify child marriage.
theres still a pretty big difference between these 2 cases, since muhammad was described by allah as an excellent example in the quran, whilst these greedy people who wrote down the laws were simply respected rabbis.

this is like saying a salafi muslim extremist who married a 9 year old, kills black dogs, married his cousin and beheads apostates is the only real follower of islam because hes following the steps of prophet muhammed (his excellent example) and things he commanded recorded in hadith, this is not how religion works there are several interpretations to islam, judaism, and christianity, some of them very extreme and some of them blatantly wrong

Nothing in the quran is against cousin marriage, it rules against marrying your daughter, mothers, etc but says ntohing about cousins, its well established that the prophet 7th wife was his cousin Zaynab Bint Jash, and inter cousin marriages have extremely high rates in muslim majority countries
