My parents bought this temperature and humidity meter that goes somewhere on the outside of our car and I've seen it get to 110+F with around 40-50% humidity when parked out in the open like an autoclave. Our car's built in thermometer is extremely inaccurate and it's either way too cold or way too hot that it actually is, but I've seen it say 117 before. My dad likes writing down all of the temperature records since, of course, my parents were from Greenland, a freezing cold country.

26 celsius isnt bad if its not humid OR you have AC, since british homes are made to hold heat in and the heatwave was humid, i get why people not used to that heat would have strokes and whatnot
