Say, "That which is given to you is not but eternal life - but you will not understand." 8 And as for him who gives and fears Allah - 9 and believes in the best - We will ease him toward facility on the Day of Resurrection. 10 He will be remembered by Allah like the one who was remembered by the angels in a good remembrance. 11 And those who believe and do righteous deeds - there will be made easy for them facilitations. 12 And that is the good tidings for the believers from Allah and His messengers. And that Allah is powerful over all things. 13 Messenger, tell your wives and your daughters and the believing women that they should drop some of their outer garments [when outdoors] and that they should cover themselves - that is more suitable that they will be known [for modesty] and not harassed. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. 14 And do not stir up trouble [with your oaths] after clear revelation has come to you while it is being witnessed by you. And do not [persist in] practicing arrogance toward those who believe. And do not make Allah forgetful of you, and [know that] Allah is Powerful over all things. 15 There shall be no sin upon the blind nor any sin upon the lame nor any sin upon the ill or upon yourselves if you eat from your houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [houses] whose keys are in your possession or those of your friends. That is not blameworthy for you but you were afraid of the people. But Allah has relieved you of this [prohibition], and ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 16 Recite to them, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you, [of the verse of the house] when He enjoined upon them that they should not defile it - that they should [only] cleanse it during specific days. 17 And do not approach it except by way of the designated path. And question those of the foreign folk who were given the Scripture before you - if you do not know. 18 They will say, "We were at it [in prayer] a [fixed] number of days." Say, "Allah is not in need of their [prayer] within [this House]. And if these people had believed and feared Allah, it would have been better for them. And if they had known, they would not have done wrong concerning it - except for some of them against others. And if it were not for a decree from Allah that had already gone out, you would have been made to taste a great punishment for what you rushed into [of falsehood]." 19 So be conscious of Allah as much as you are able and listen. And Allah does not love the ones who are [Habitual] wrongdoers. 20 If those who disbelieved only knew when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces or their backs and they will not [then] be helped. 21 Rather, it will come to them suddenly and catch them while they are unaware. 22 Then do not grieve over them or hasten [the penalty] on their account. 23 And Allah knows what you uncover and what you conceal. 24 And when you say, "If only I had said thus," do not say, "If only I had not said that." And consider it a mercy from Allah and a sign for the believers. 25 O you who believe, do not nullify your charities with reminders and harming [one another] like one who spends his wealth only to be seen by the people and he does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. And the example of him is like a rock on which is a dust or soil - rainfall strikes it so it falls loose. And there is not for them from Allah any means [of success]. 26 And among you are those who desire this world, and among you are those who desire the Hereafter. And then again there are those who desire both. And those who desire the Hereafter - they are many times greater than those who desire this world. And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [this world], and your Lord is going to be satisfied. 27 And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved [at death] - they smite their faces and their backs [saying], "Taste the punishment of the burning." 28 And those who have believed will say, "Indeed, we fear our Lord that He should expose us for our sins; then Allah would single us out [for blame]. Thereupon, Allah will say, 'Do not fear! Instead, enter paradise, [the home of] eternity which you were promised.'" 29 And We will say, "Prostrate to what Allah has created"
