Im gonna sing my first Soy Music track, this time by making a parody of "Pray for Rain" by Massive Attack.
The goal of this thread is that each reply must be an improvized line of the song but by changing the lyrics to make them related to the soysphere.
There are a set of rules:
1) YOU MUST RESPECT THE ORDER OF THE LYRICS
2)YOU MUST MAKE IT RHYME
3)THE PRONUNCIATION OF THE LYRICS MUST FIT THE PACING OF THE BEAT
And here are the original lyrics, (You) will change the lyrics based on the structure shown here!
[Verse 1]
In deepest hollows of our minds
A system failure left behind
[Refrain: Tunde Adebimpe]
And their necks crane
As they turn to pray for rain
And their necks crane
[Verse 2: Tunde Adebimpe]
Dull residue of what once was
A shattered cloud of swirling doves
[Refrain: Tunde Adebimpe]
And their eyes change
As they learn to see through flames
And their necks crane
As they turn to pray for rain
And their eyes change
As they learn to see through flames
And their necks crane
As they turn to pray for rain
[Interlude: Tunde Adebimpe]
Drops on rocks fall fast and fleeting
Hearts and wings commence to beating
What's unseen with all believing
Vision walls fall all receding
Vision walls fall all receding
Drops on rocks come fast and fleeting
Rhythm laws unleash the meaning
Usher us into the dreaming
Vision walls fall all receding
Hearts and wings commence to beating
All unending, all completing
Vision walls fall fast and fleeting
Vision walls fall all revealing
Vision walls fall all revealing
Vision walls fall all revealing
Vision walls fall all revealing
[Non-Lyrical Bridge]
[Verse 3]
In deepest hollows of our minds
A system failure left behind
Dull residue of what once was
A shattered cloud of swirling doves
[Refrain: Tunde Adebimpe]
And their eyes change
As they learn to see through flames
