Autophagy is the process of cellular repair and maintenance. It clears misfolded proteins and waste from cells. This peaks in a fasted state. I'm guessing you're eating over 12 hours with this much food, and you're probably eating close to when you sleepI know that my autophagy is likely low most of the times, but i thought that was normal for muscle growth and it isnt a problem if it comes from healthy food sources? correct me if im wrong on thisShow quoted text
Literally doing anything resitance based will make you blow up when you're new to the gym
Most people optimise when their gains start diminishing
You can't speedrun muscle gains unless you're juicing, you're getting bunk calories in and that's just going to affect your autophagy
You won't feel healthier if you over do simple stuff like this
You want to have a small eating window, I get all my food in within 7 hours tops. I also don't eat at least 5 hours before I go to sleep
If you're lifting weights as a casual, then you need to prioritise recovery, because that's what's going to give you real muscle gains. You don't need as much recovery on steroids which is when bodybuilders start hammering macros, since their body literally requires more nutrients.
Getting good sleep, keeping fasted windows, getting your meals in, working out consistently, you need to have everything balanced when you're natty, since you're relying on your bodies ability to repair and recover.
