It should be Colombus Day, not Indigenous People's Day
We shouldn't throw away the legacy of cristopher colombus just because he did some bad things and because it hurts some ferrets feelings, because without him a lot of people couldn't find a new home + we wouldn't have great nations such as america and canada
What if it was Columbo day
What if Christopher was actually Rayenari
It's September
what's your opinion on that @rayenari?
Anyways, as someone who both descends from Christopher Columbus himself and the Taíno Natives, I don't really care which one you choose to celebrate, celebrate either one you want, celebrate both maybe, do whatever you want, not my problem. Hell, even our governor has the surname Columbus (Colón) and she's mixed

When the Romans conquered Spain, they enslaved the native Iberians, made them gather gold for them to take it to Rome, and raped Iberian women. Conquest is a brutal reality that both destroys and creates. It has been seen all across the globe, it is foreign to no nation.

no way its pure coincidence the greedy people were kicked out of spain the same time as himEven doe he was a greedy person
The greedy people were expelled from Spain after the Castillians and Aragonese finished conquering Granada, Columbus was planning on the voyage before and went to the Monarchs, but their primary focus was on warring against the Moors at the time. All of it was pushed forward by the fall of Granada.no way its pure coincidence the greedy people were kicked out of spain the same time as himShow quoted text
