Israel has seen a booming surge of conversions to christianity, although at a slow pace. The Hebrew Catholic movement is largely the root cause, and signifies the success of Vatican to bring Christ's cause to the Holy Land.

It's important to make a distinction to Hebrew Catholicism. This boom is mainly across ethnic Israeli jews, since Arab Israelis had already a significant christian community, due to the presence of Arab Christians in the Levant. Hebrew Catholics are Basically Israeli jews that practise the Catholic faith, who speak Hebrew.
