Austin Metcalf physically shoved or put his hands on Anthony during the confrontation under the team tent.
Anthony reasonably believed he was in danger and reacted to protect himself.
Metcalf had no legal right to use physical force to remove Anthony from the tent, contending that this physical contact triggered Anthony's response.
Anthony reportedly said immediately afterward, “He put his hands on me, I told him no,” he acted out of fear rather than with intent to murder.
