"The Talmud supports child rape" debunked

The Talmud is the most comprehensive work of Rabbinic literature, comprising the written history of oral debates between rabbis spanning thousands of years. As part of this, every minority opinion is recorded under 'Elu ve-elu'. The Talmud's primary purpose is not to provide a codified legal work, but rather to study how to exercise debate and learn from intra-rabbinic disputes (makhloket).
>but muh specific passages in Sanhedrin!
These passages describe statements from Rabbis nearly 2,000 years ago, and they are not indicative of any modern scholarly opinion. Modern scholars and rabbis widely acknowledge these passages reflect ancient attitudes that are morally indefensible by contemporary standards. These age thresholds were never codified into normative law in regards to sexual contact, as Jewish law has always strictly prohibited any sexual activity with children. In many of these passages, you can see Rabbis object to the statements being exercised.
Although they are morally reprehensible, to sanitize them would go against the systematic purpose of the work and would betray intellectual honesty.
>b-but you're a Jew!
Yes, goy! You're very smart for noticing that!
Plus the vast majority of Jews haven't followed the Talmud in hundreds of years
how come the elite end up doing it
Talmud is the biggest battleboard thread ever
what if it doesn't matter and I just hate jews
The point is that the epistemic question is still left unanswered (because its an incoherent religion)

(Also unrelated to epistemology and what counts as authority but here: Read nigga read -> https://substack.com/home/post/p-156030609)

Some crazy rabbis some more normal

JEWS still have a long record of child sacrifice
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passovers_of_Blood
Heres an example
>The book analyses a notorious medieval trial where the Jewish community was accused of murdering a child for ritual purposes as part of Passover.
>Because the book seemed to lend credence to one of the blood libels, it sparked intense controversy including calls for him to resign from or be fired from his professorship; the questioning of his research, historical method(s), and motives as they relate to his writing of the book; threats to his life; and demands that he be prosecuted.[2]

The laws of Israel came primary from the Torah, but the fact that the Knesset hold up a debate to discuss the pros and cons of raping prisoners tell me that the Talmud is the primary source of your "people" laws.

torturing an infant by cutting the tip of his penis and giving him a bloody blowjob isn't sexual activity? this isn't even a Talmudic law this been taken from the Torah (the good Jews)
