I get this perspective, but on the other hand, offensive content is now allowed on normie spaces like Twitter and Ig reels. You wouldn't see certain kind of memes in 2019 for example. I've seen some right wing lingo infiltrate some lefty spaces.

From what I've seen, it's typically some sort of pendulum. When times are easier in western countries, progressive values are typically embraced. When it gets hard, more conservative values are embraced.
