Why is Gore allowed while animal abuse is prohibited?
Does a animal dignity worth more that our fellow human beings?
I don't prefer one over the other at all; in fact, I condemn both, but I want to know why contemporary morality (if there is such a thing nowadays) has this narrative.

Animals do not reason, so they lack ethical standards, which leads to a lack of morality; they are also quite opportunistic, so they will kill any of their victims if it suits them. In fact, certain studies document animal behavior and reveal unnecessary cruelty and brutality in killing, unlike the typical human being, who today slaughters animals using the least painful methods ever devised.

But what about the DNB case? He was just a child—clearly an innocent human being—and yet his death has been the subject of repeated mockery and desecration, taken to these extremes.

Context for the dead nigger baby:
The name of the macheted child is Sitsofe Abotsi. He was murdered in Kpeyiborme, in the Volta region of Ghana on June 18, 2014. He was killed by his father, Gideon "Jarah" Abotsi, after his wife refused to have sex with him. you could kind of compare it to racial jokes not being okay outside of a certain race. saying nigger as someone who isnt a black person isnt socially acceptable. in this case, you could say that gore of other human beings is somewhat okay since it involves other human beings but gore of animals isnt.
also most animal torture imagery involves common pets and most pets, like cats, are innocent. they appear "cute" in the eyes of humans and that could contribute to why people condemn animal abuse.

only monsters mock his death, most people either dont care or condemn it

also animal abuse imagery, like dee en bee, is illegal in certain countries. it might be a matter of law and not morals or ethics.

I don't like either type of this gore, and I agree that the life of a person is worth much more than the life of an animal, but if I were to guess why one is prohibited while the other is not, maybe it is because it is easier to kill an animal without repercussions?
