a lot of the "nepo mods" worked their way up to their positions. it wasnt just handed out like candy. i wont say much but you should remember how a good portion of us used to be approvers and jannies

i get that the current scale was massive (there was like over 60 approvers) but it seems a little stupid to gut out the backbone of this site. i vouch for myself that id usually get through 5-20 reports during hours without another mod
