Hi!
I like literature, and I would like to start a Soybooru Book Club! For those interested we will be reading Moby Dick first! You can get a copy from here, it is an EPUB copy and will open in any EPUB reader, just click the cover to download. That site is mine and lists the Top 100 books (decade aggregate) according to 4chan's /lit/ board.
Feel free to post any /lit/ discussions in here too!
Moby Dick chapter one discussion will be discussed this Sunday (4/12) in the IRC at 5 PM UTC!
I am also open to changing the book if you guys want, but I think Moby Dick is a good start.

Thanks for the effort post and very useful advice. I actually truly appreciate it. I will take this into account for what I do now!As someone who has a Bachelors in Political Science (Dual major albeit) you will never read any of those. The most I did in undergraduate in terms of reading whole books was for social welfare and social contracts, which is an elective. Basically, do not take that major unless it fits in well with a double major and you can do it in 3/4 years alongside something else (Economics, Finance, Pre-law [A major some places], etc ..,).
Revolt Against the Modern World is a fun read, I read that on the hood of my car to an aryan woman in the rain on an island at one point in my life. The International Jew is fun to read but if you have read /pol/ you've read a simpler version. For My Legionaries reads like /rus/pol pre-Ukraine, and is honestly kind of ridiculous with some of the shit Codreanu got up to (like shooting a cop or politician or whatever near the end and just getting released). Camp of the Saints is a fun read and relevant. To be honest much of that list is the same shit over and over again, and most of it is people complaining without offering realistic solutions, or making a real world problem so theoretical it has no value (*cough* Evola *cough*).
Do not waste your time and read something worthwhile that may impact your life beyond chasing the field dreams of men of the 1940's who lacked the ability to act for the most part, and whose relevance has diminished for much of the modern world. I wasted a lot of time and energy as a youth arguing over these things and it honestly goes nowhere, the tl:dr is the same and it is that Capitalism (and by extension the Eternal Jew or the Eternal Anglo or whomever the in-group is that is exploiting the free market to drain a nation) is evil, and that a non-homogenous society is plagued by more issues than others. The solution is a strong government ran by those whom you agree with to punish those whom you disagree with (sound familiar?). It does not work because all systems lead to abuse, and honestly the only way to have a good world is to have a homogenous society with high trust and high punishments for those who abuse that trust. This leads to a more communal society (or a more communal society leads to this), and that suffocates individualism (or individualism suffocates this), especially in a non-homogenous society. The issue is corrupted systems, and non-homogeneity, things which much of the West cannot solve, and are non-existent, albeit with many other issues in the East.
Basically, don't waste your time. Spend college learning something useful, because no one is going to teach you non-retarded political science (it is not a science and Woodrow Wilson was our worst president). Learn something you cannot teach yourself easily.
Also read Kafka.

I do not mean to discourage you, but if you want to learn any kind of Political Science just take a statistics course and go on the professors C.V.'s and read some of their papers, you will understand it all. It is a diverse field with no real laws, so pretty much everything is open to interpretation (Look up arguments over something as simple as the definition of power, or polarities, or anything). Thanks for the effort post and very useful advice. My biggest regret in undergrad was not taking advantage of college to learn something I could not teach myself (easily). Like, you cannot do a cadaver lab at home, or study abroad at a prestigious university in another country learning the language (easily). Enter college with a goal and try to take full advantage of the unique position you are in as a student.
There is absolutely no need to have someone simplify Kant for you, or re-read the same manufactured slides they made based on another's when you can watch an Ivy League professor do it for free on YouTube, or just read the original texts yourselves and derive your own meaning from it.
Good luck young anon.
(Law school is a completely different beast though, and you do not need any special degree to go to it in the United States. It also has a lot of political related texts depending on what you pursue.)

also, if you were wondering, I am trying to become a premier of a province (A premier is basically the Canadian equivalent of a governor) and maybe try for Prime Minister.
when I become premier, I want my province to be a fortress of tradition that is unique across the whole world and not like Poland were they just identify as Catholic but actually act traditional in their lives!

I have spent some of the most meaningful moments of my life with some of the most meaningful people in my life sitting underneath the orange glow of Gibeau's Julep and walking among the trees in the botanical garden.
Canada is a beautiful country, hopefully Quebec secedes before the Sikhs invade, the niggers certainly made their home but not as much as France.
