if you have experience with a mouse then migrating to a tablet will actually make your drawing skills worse. drawing tablets are very clunky, they do not feel like using a pen and paper

I've heard Wacom tablets are good. I'd recommend getting better with a mouse but honestly you should try an ipad if you have one. You might be good at it.
