The flag of Sugarism.
The CIA Directorate of Analysis has completed an assessment of a nascent oppositional movement operating within the anonymous imageboard ecosystem centered on soyjak.party and its affiliated web infrastructure, including SoyBooru. The group, internally designated "Sugarism" or alternately "Svgarism," was founded by a SoyBooru namefag "@Ifuggenhatesalt" and represents a coordinated ideological opposition to the current site administrator known only as "Salt." The group is not merely a dispute over site governance. It exhibits the structural characteristics of an organized political faction with documented membership, internal communications infrastructure, a formal belief system, and a demonstrated capacity for coordinated disruptive action. The October 2026 Uprising on soyjak.party's /soy/ board, in which Sugarist propaganda was distributed across numerous threads simultaneously, confirms the movement has moved beyond discussion into active operations.
ITS IDELOGY AND BELIEFS
Sugarism functions as an umbrella ideology uniting users who share a core anti-Salt posture. Its stated positions are as follows. Adherents believe the tricking practices of the Quote administration should be reinstated. They regard what they term "boogeymen failtrolls" as hostile actors who should face moderation action rather than tolerance. Contrary to the prevailing chan cultural norm of treating morality-based moderation as weakness, Sugarists explicitly endorse moralfagging as a legitimate and necessary approach. They maintain that Salt should not hold ownership of SoyBooru. They advocate for the containment of gore content to a single designated board. And underpinning all of these positions is an anti-Salt core that the movement treats as non-negotiable. The ideological coherence here is worth noting. Sugarism is not simply a reaction to Salt. It reflects a genuine philosophical disagreement about what the site should be, who should be able to post on it, and what standards of conduct should apply. Within the Soysphere's internal political taxonomy, it occupies a position analogous to reformism, pressing for a more ordered, rules-bound site culture against what it perceives as administrative negligence.
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS
Communications, recovered through discord API archives, indicate that elements within the group have begun discussing operations directed personally against Salt rather than against site policy or infrastructure. This represents a meaningful escalation from the groups's prior activity, which had been focused on ideological opposition and coordinated board disruption during the October Uprising. The nature of the planned operation remains unclear. Two distinct theories have emerged from collection and are presently being evaluated in parallel. The first involves a coordinated falseflaging campaign against Salt, in which Sugarist members would fabricate unverified allegations designed to damage his reputation and destabilize his hold on the soyverse. The specific character of the falseflaging has not been confirmed. However, we assess with moderate confidence based on the groups's existing rhetoric around Salt's alleged permissiveness toward pedophilic content on the site that allegations along those lines represent the most probable vector. The group has already used the accusation structurally in its ideological platform. Weaponizing it as a direct personal charge against Salt would be a natural extension of existing Sugarist messaging and would require minimal new infrastructure to execute. The second theory involves a doxing operation aimed at identifying Salt's real-world identity. Salt's personal information has remained unknown throughout his tenure. The groupss founder, @Ifuggenhatesalt, demonstrated prior willingness to push into adversarial territory with his Saltcord incident, and several Sugarchunk members have backgrounds in similar operations within the broader imageboard ecosystem. Whether the doxing effort is being pursued independently or as a precursor to the falseflaging campaign is not yet established.
