You MUST maintain a hot temperature with harsh sunlight. If you live in a more temperate region then get a high-power lamp.
Depending on the variety, use either a humid environment with loamy soil or a dry environment with sandy soil

• Fertilizer
  

You should be using about 1kg of nigger poop per bbc per week

• Watering
  

The more water the better

• Pest control
  

Watch out for cobson snails, they can suck a BBC dry in mere minutes. Also watch out for longnose beetles that will try to snip off the tip of your BBCs
