In no particular order
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing.....
Yes - Close to the Edge, Fragile
Emerson, Lake, & Palmer - Tarkus
King Crimson - Red, In the Court of the Crimson King, Discipline
Aphex Twin - ...I Care Because You Do, Drukqs
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi, Music Has the Right to Children (this title sounds rapesonish but it's a good album)
Pink Floyd - Animals, all their obvious shit except The Wall that's overrated as fuck
Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness
Slowdive - Souvlaki
America - America
Pantera - All of their music (maybe except Reinventing the Steel)

This is probably my last forum and 'ru post for a good amount of time, so make of it what you will

i may have heard the name what genre is he
i'm also gonna amend my post i forgot to recommend some gems
He created his own genre, using the orchestration and compositional techniques from classical music and applying it to folk music and called it american primitvism, he is the greatest composer of all time.
His best work is Fare Forward Voyagers, closely followed by his earlier works on America and The Great Santa Barbara Oil Slick, the best entry point is probably Death Chants, Breakdowns & Military Waltzes if you are interested :wholesome:
