1. take an image like this, preferably high quality with a transparent background
2. in whatever software you use (i prefer paint.net) bucket the outlines as black and the rest as white. Adjust the fill slider if the image is antialiased
3. Add a stubble, glasses, etc.
4. Export it as a png
