Is it weird that 2hu is the closest thing I've had to anime interaction in my life

and the sbr animation doesn't look too bad, of course you can't really compare it to full on panels but it looks fine
"it looks fine" are you kidding me?? it looks unfinished, zero lighting, just ugly ass flat colors that are way too bright. It looks like they got a B-tier sweatshop to make it and they just copied the model sheets without adding any lighting at all. It would literally look 2000 times better if they just added shading like they did in the earlier parts. But nooooo.
Especially since the production on the part 6 anime adaptation was horrible (awful animation, extremely static, overuse of 3d, animation errors everywhere), this is probably going to be similarly cheaply made and bad. I don't know why moving to Netflix seems to have fucked up the production so much, but it has.

yeah, the Blu-rays. Those are kind of a mixed bag, sometimes the 'fixed' versions actually look worse, geg. It really doesn't seem like they cared about Stone Ocean at all, which I'd have been fine with if it was because they were saving their budget for part 7. But considering the terrible quality in the part 7 trailer, it doesn't look like they were doing that.
It's just weird. Part 5 was like the most popular part ever and likely made a ton of money, but the parts after it have only gotten worse in quality. Where did their budget go?? How hard is Netflix raping them???
