Also the animation quality on the SBR anime looks like dogshit geg, I'm not excited for it
and the sbr animation doesn't look too bad, of course you can't really compare it to full on panels but it looks fine

It would literally look 2000 times better if they just added shading like they did in the earlier parts. But nooooo.
Especially since the production on the part 6 anime adaptation was horrible (awful animation, extremely static, overuse of 3d, animation errors everywhere), this is probably going to be similarly cheaply made and bad. I don't know why moving to Netflix seems to have fucked up the production so much, but it has.

It really doesn't seem like they cared about Stone Ocean at all, which I'd have been fine with if it was because they were saving their budget for part 7. But considering the terrible quality in the part 7 trailer, it doesn't look like they were doing that.
It's just weird. Part 5 was like the most popular part ever and likely made a ton of money, but the parts after it have only gotten worse in quality. Where did their budget go?? How hard is Netflix raping them???
