How do (You) delete your metadata in your pics'n'vids?

Hello guys, it appears that in some posts of mine I forgot to delete le metadata and I risked getting some 'zas ordered (ev&doe I'm a nice guy), as some of you had the pleasure to tell me.
Now I obviously got worried because of this, and I tried using websites to 'nish the possible personal data embedded, but I'm still unsure of how should I proceed with my pics.
And this is why I thought of asking (You) how am I supposed to do that correctly, without risking my family to get falseflagged with le ownage of illegal content and such.

@custard there should be an option to delete the metadata after uploading a post
(or simply just purge it from all posts altogether nophono cares about that shit)
