why learn they key strokes if you can just use vscodium? and for the terminal there is vi preinstalled :neutral:

vscode fucking sucks
vi isnt for programming, its more for editing files. it doesnt have plugins.

vi isnt for programming, its more for editing files. it doesnt have plugins.
vim and neovim have plugins. vscodium just works. eclipse is also good

eclipse is an IDE, it doesnt compete with emacs/vscode
vscodium just werks but some people view it as too feature-heavy or "bloated"
lua isnt as good as lisp (ev&doe both suck)

i don't really make that distinction. all i care about is syntax highlighting and code completion. for everything else i just use make.
