I had this idea for a handheld weapon that fires neutrons, its like this small scale nuclear reactor, where a small part of the casing opens up, to let the neutrons fly out of the "barrel", its like a real life "raygun".
It might be a completely stupid idea, but i very much tried to base it in reality.
