Im wondering this question myself because most if not all furfags Ive encountered are sex-addicted degenerates that probably send EPI to cacas.

i think there is some nuance to it, and by that i mean that only 20% of furrniggers wont arm an animal irl, yes the community exists purely for gooning and sexual desires, no it wont stop sfw materials from coming out and bringing people to the fandom.

In my opinion there are some furries that are not degenerates, but they are a minority compared to furries that goon alot. If I had to guess id say that furries that are normal take up around 10-15% of the fandom and everyone else is ether a degenerate or the groomed. An extremely good majority of furfags are degenerates though, but saying that furfag community doesnt have some hidden gems inside is ignorant (for example the 'ki has like 3(2, because one of em is denying) furfags).>Not all furries are bad!

Although there is a point where you gotta ask yourself if you really wanna waste time picking through a shitty community just to find the good ones from the bad ones. I totally have the time to do that, but do I want to? I severely hated furries as a caca, but when I was 15-16, I had a moment where I thought "not all furries are bad!" (in a way that implies a very good amount of them are fine e.g. 80-90% which could never be true). Then I kept seeing shit about furries coming out constantly where they keep getting exposed for being low-life degenerate trash, and so I snapped out of that delusion. Now instead of obsessively hating furries or running up to bat for them, I generally dislike them (not obsessively) and will always be skeptical upon encountering them.

You have a good point, and before anybaldi says anything I am not defending furries because most of them are HIV ridden degenerates.
