In this scenario one hundred new entities have been introduced upon the earth across Europe (outside of Germany) and North America, they are the Reichtangles.
The Reichtangles are about three meters tall and 30cm thick. They can hover up to 20 meters above the ground at a speed of up to 20km/h. They can make themselves invisible and spend most of their time being invisible. The main exception to this rule is that they will get within 2 meters of a person, become visible (usually behind them), say "Guten Tag", "Hallo" or "is Reich Time", bend over slightly and things to that effect and Anschluss them: the Reichtangle will zap the person with eye beams. This will teleport onto the individual a WWI era german uniform, an Otto von Bismarck style fake mustache and a pickelhaube. They will mostly remain what they were, but they will speak with a German accent and they will have a compulsion to try to expand Germany's borders and make Europe at least into a big huge Reich. They can also give their newly Anschlussed individuals a Gewher 98 rifle and a Luger Pistol, but will only do so if their is an immediate need for the individual to have weapons.
The Reichtangles will only Anschluss people over 18 years old and they can only Anschluss one person every ten seconds. It also takes a minute after Anschlussing someone to regain it's invisibility. They can not anschluss someone who is asleep. They are colorblind as to whom they Anschluss and don't care about race. Wearing a historic uniform or costume specific to one's home country, carrying a stereotypical item of food from the same or singing your national anthem will repel a Reichtangle, though singing only works when the reichtangle is invisible. If a reichtangle is hit by a flag of another nation or a food item, it will become decloked for 24 hours. If a Reichtangle Anschlusses more than a hundred people, it will split into two new reichtangles. Reichtangles are not indestructable, a few shots from a rifle will usually kill one. If a Reichtangle is killed, those individuals that it has anschlussed will revert back to their previous frame of mind. If present, a sibling reichtangle will become visible if it's counterpart was killed for a few hours.
