at the beginning it was very clearly forced by one person. it never "caught on" by itself, and the only reason it is at most semi-relevant in posts now is because of the autist who spammed vlodson for god knows how long. if he was raped for avatarfagging (which is pretty much what it would come down to sometimes) vlodson would have disappeared into the aether, and forgotten about within a month's time. now, however, it serves to be the "bait" variant, the one that everyone hates, which i'm sure is exactly what the creator wanted. was interesting to witness and i personally am indifferent on it
