This is clearly a rare and majestic Felis serpentis.
A perfect evolutionary compromise: the emotional depth of a cat… with the intimidation factor of a cobra.
The face says, “I would like gentle head scratches.”
The hood says, “Approach wisely.”
What really sells it is the expression — those wide, soft eyes paired with the fully flared cobra hood. It’s like nature couldn’t decide between adorable and terrifying, so it said, “Yes.”
I especially love how the fur pattern blends into the scaled hood texture. It makes it feel oddly believable, like this creature evolved in some alternate ecosystem where mice fear both purring and venom.
10/10 would cautiously offer a treat from a safe distance.
