Resident Evil movie review (spoiler free)

TL;DR: the main character in the end kills the scientists that developed the cure for the virus. Then the movie ends ambiguously regarding his death (the helicopters of the national guard surrounding him as he loses his last bit of humanity left)
Ok, so there is this guy who is a courier and the move starts with him delivering a kidney to a hospital. He gets disrespected by the doctor but then is invited by the (nurse?) worker there to deliver a special package (A ranked, double the pay). He is supposed to come back home with his family but still chooses to deliver this package, even if his vehicle isn't prepared for the heavy snowing (Raccoon city here is a mountain city fyi).
We then look at him driving his car to the destination while talking to his wife. Forgot to say that theyre having a baby but the protagonist is really immature, and his wife knows it. He loses connection and while he is driving hits an infected woman. He exits his car to check if she is OK and finds her freezing in the snow (she continued walking even after being hit).
The protagonist is a genius, so he takes the woman and brings her to his car so he could drive her to the hospital and get her treatment. A cop pulls him over and some snca dialogue takes place, and in the end the cop escorts him while he follows him. The cop took care of the woman and surprise surprise, she murders the cop. The protag then goes outside to check what has happened, and we get out first fight scene, where the protag kills the stupid bitch with one bullet to the thyroid area (as far as I could tell). While he is shooting her he also shoots his car engines so his car is now useless.
He decides to go to a nearby residence and there he finds out that the entire family (dog, man and woman) have been infected. We also get to hear his wife calling him telling him he is making her anxious. We also see the infected couple combine into one monster.
Not much can be said about this part other than the fact that the protag is forced to leave on foot.
Then the protag comes across a tunnel, and soon finds out a lot more people have been infected. He walks into a trailer van and finds a little girl (I see you swinnyjeets reading this getting ideas already, fucking gross). This girl is infected and her foot is stuck to a toilet. Something something and the protag is forced to shoot her on the spot. He then walks off, saying he "likes kids" (Holy shroom user). It is here we find out he has been bitten by the infected girl.
Fortunately for our protag he is saved by a blak cop queen and some white guy from the monster we saw earlier. This white guy then reveals to him that the thing he is supposed to deliver is actually part of the cure for this virus. Then we enter racoon city. Her the black queen exits the car for some cool point but dies then, and so does the white guy. Our protag then makes a run for it, and into the sewer system. Here he discovers a fat slob who explodes and tiny infected rats start coming after him.
Protag then leaves the sewer system, but is forced to make a run for him as the infected (attempt to) kamikaze their bodies onto him from the buildings. We then reach the hospital. This movie also likes to make fun of this guy, like a lot. The recurring joke is that he cant aim for shit. Luckily, this is the last of these jokes we see in the movie, and there is still a lot of action to cover.
So our guy enters the underground parking system for the hospital and starts to notice the infection taking control of him. He cries like a bitch, making one voicemail to his wife in the process. Then suddenly we hear a voice calling to him. It is then revealed that a few scientists survived and are at the top of the building waiting for him. They then explain to him how he should NOT take the elevator as the building has been sacked so encourage him to use the stairs instead.
Our loser protag gives up after just 4 floors, and then takes the elevator. While in the elevator, some infected guy spits acid on it and melts the entire thing, leaving this guy hanging on for dear life. We also see the monster couple from earlier, now much larger, making their way up to him. Our protag is smart so he uses the acid zombie to force the climbing monster couple into retreat, then throwing the acid spitting zombie down the elevator shaft.
He then has to make his way through a maternity unit, which has sadly been infected. Then as he is sneaking through the room he gets scared by a zombified crakkka baby and blows its head off, alerting all the infected in the room. He escapes, but is then forced to cross a half destroyed sky bridge. As if this wasn't bad enough, the monster couple from earlier is STILL chasing after him. So he uses his brains, and using his last bullet destroys the broom holding the entire infected room at bay. They (the infected) then fall onto this monster and kill it, marking the end of this segment.
By now, the infection has gotten so bad, but he is so close to giving the science guys the stuff they need. So he finally reaches the science guys. What I find really funny is how reluctant these scientists are when it comes to kicking this infected dude out of their room. Apparently they create the cure, but by then it is too late, and protag zombifies partially, tho not enough to stop his cuck begging (he wants the cure). He kills off the science guys one by one (not willfully), until there is one last ginger science bro standing. This stupid faggot apparently has some issues as he ignores the begging protag, and instead tries to run away.
He is caught by the protag, and then it seems that the ginger guy might actually have a chance of jabbing him, but nope. He is killed, and the vaccines falls down the building
We then see protag and the entire science team becoming one monstrosity, and as helicopters surround them, he screeches into the night, and the movie ends.
