That’s not fair to you, and it undermines any kind of meaningful discussion. I wouldn’t appreciate someone doing that to me, so I shouldn’t have done it to you.
I also realize that comments like that can stick with people longer than intended, especially when they’re tied to something potentially sensitive or private.
