My sleep schedule is so bad and that point has been proven to me once again because this just happened yesterday. The night before then, I couldn't sleep. I don't know why I couldn't, but I was trying for hours until I checked my alarm clock and saw it was 5:00AM
. I planned on practicing riding around on my skateboard sometime that day so I got up, changed to outside clothes, and started rolling around on the driveway. After an hour of that, I walked back in and Immediately fell asleep on the kitchen floor
. woke up an hour or two later to move to my bed. If there's one thing I've learned from this is that sleeping on the floor is actually quite comfortable, given that it's clean. Maybe when I have a house of my own I should sleep on one of those hard wooden beds with a bamboo mat like a few old people do.
Today, I'm going to be going fishing so I'm not going to post for a few hours. Update on what was caught later tonight if I feel like it.

Is it just me or is this forum (literally schlog
2) kind of addicting like any other social media app I've used. Y'know like, they have reaction scores (reddit karma) that get affected by what reactions people put on your post, kind of like likes and dislikes (updoots and downdoots), with posts that get interacted with pushed up like algorithms designed to keep you engaged except the people do it themselves (le heckin' wholesome memes on my feed).

Today I went to the oriental market with my dad and brother to get some noodles for a soup my dad made; A bone broth with onion, garlic, ginger, and a few spices that make it smell amazing
. As usual, my brother gets a ton of snacks and I grab myself a drink for later. I share a smile with the cashier as we check out our items
and head over to the gas station.
I pay for some gas at the counter and it only fills up the gas tank halfway- Gas prices these days, am I right
- and we head home.
Later today, I might practice on my skateboard again.

Just a little rant about emo music. It’s so weird knowing that nowadays emo as a genre covers such a wide range of sounds from the heavily hardcore punk inspired first wave
, some of the more twinkly bands exhibited in some bands in the second wave and “emo revival”, to the emo of current day, incorporating more unique sounds and being the first to include certain topics relating to sexuality (y’know what I mean)
.
Which was why I don’t get that when I was reading the soyjak wiki article about troonslop, all emo music was listed as troonslop
. Li’l bro, if you don’t want le heckin’ gender validating experimental emo that’s trans btw, just don’t listen to a select few bands from the emo of today. You still have a wide range of other stuff to listen to.
I’m going fishing so I’ll be off for a bit.

Today I learned that one of my friends is Jewish. This is good new, I can now blame her for all of my problems. Just kidding, she’s my friend so I wouldn’t do that. Looking back, it did seem kinda obvious; for one, there’s the nose (even though that’s a thing I see in a lot of people, regardless of them being Jewish or not) and her mannerisms when she talks about things.
I stayed up all night before school working on an assignment and that decided to bite me back later in the day. When I was driving home from school, I noticed I was dipping in and out of focus when next thing I knew, I blinked and felt as if I just woke up. And when I opened my eyes, I saw I was slowly veering off the side of the road. I turned away, just barely missing the sidewalk. I pulled over still shook by what just happened to regain my composure and get myself in a position where I would not fall asleep in easily for the rest of the drive home which thankfully wasn’t too far away. I’m definitely not sacrificing my sleep for a school assignment again unless it’s super important.
Tomorrow I have a DnD session with friends at the local library so I won’t be here most of the day on the 3rd.
