That's bulshit lmao I know here people were showering in 12th century. There were even pots made to be filled with water. Let's be real no matter how much you hate euros there's no way you can think that no one, with all these rivers and lakes next to them, thought about not getting in them.no, like she described the smell like armpits and ass. i dont think europeans shower daily..Show quoted text

they saw bathing as jewish and moorish heresy lmao. but maybe thats just more of a christian thing albeit. even then, the cleanest europeans before the 1500s were vikings, who had superior hygiene compared to the rest of europe but only bathed for once a week. That's bulshit lmao I know here people were showering in 12th century. I like when browns think anglos were all of Europe. First slavic tribes that came here had regular bathing and so did european meds. Vikings didn't bathe once a week they bathed at least once a week. If you wanted or had to bathe before Sunday (when was the bathing day) you were free to do so. They also regularly washed their faces, clothes, beards an whatnot. Only Brits and french washed once a week. Not to mention Greeks they also had strict hygienethey saw bathing as jewish and moorish heresy lmao. but maybe thats just more of a christian thing albeit. even then, the cleanest europeans before the 1500s were vikings, who had superior hygiene compared to the rest of europe but only bathed for once a week.Show quoted text

Usualy when people say that they bring up anglo countries. Also the daily bathing was a thing since slavs worshiped trees lmao no one even knew what Islam was back then. Even after christianization they continued with their hygienic habitsi have not mentioned anglos once lmao.Show quoted text

maybe it was a christian thing or smth, because the romans did bathe extensively, albeit they used olive oil as a substitute to soap
