She has changed so much. Everything I knew that holds true for her is no longer the case and it was just one year of her going to another country to study. Before you ask: she didn't become a leftist or something along these lines, it's her personality that changed on a fundamental level. I don't know if I still love her, or some outdated idea of her I have in my head. I'm willing to see the new her but I don't know if she wants to expose this new version of herself to me. I want to sleep without participating in the events of life for the next decade and when I wake up all that I despise is gone
