Yesterday I was returning a "humane" squirrel cage I borrowed from my neighbor. The issue is the cage wasn't very humane anymore since I actually used it to kill the squirrel after I caught it and the squirrel was still dead inside the cage. I had to quickly dump the dead squirrel out into a pit and then go and give it to them.

For context a squirrel snuck into my house during this winter. The issue is they're really good at tracking how to get back to wherever it is they were trying to live. So I ended up just killing it to save myself the trouble (it's le pest control, okay?) and my neighbor is kind of a sperg when it comes to animals, especially squirrels. So I'd feel bad telling them I literally killed it in their cage.
