Both Notch And Jeb Had The Opportunity To Push Minecraft Beyond A Lackluster Sandbox Indie Game Interchangeably But They Both Failed To. Look At Terraria (2011-2016) For Example:
Comparing Terraria 1.1 To 1.3 Is Like Night And Day; Added A Whole New Section Of Progression And Gameplay (Hardmode), Insane Lighting System Difference, Added TModLoader
Then You Have The Exact Same Time Frame (2011-2016) With Minecraft;
Minecraft 1.4.2 (Wither Update) To 1.9 (Combat Update) Is Like: Oh, Yeah They Changed How Swords Work, And Between Then And This Update They Added Like 5 New Biomes.
It's Inadequacy That Can Be Forgiven For An Indie Game Studio, But They're Still Doing This Shit Under Microsoft To This Day.
Dogshit Game With Nothing Of Value For Gameplay, Creativity, Sandbox Elements Or Any Sort Of Actual Value Beyond Being A Shitty Game That I'm Pretty Sure The People Who Still Play It, Play It Because It's Minecraft And It's Cool To Play Minecraft.
I Have Never Met Anybody Who Has Played Minecraft Regularly Without Mods, That Is A Neurotypical Person Or Solid Guy. You're Either An Autist Or Loser If You Play Minecraft Regularly. Fact.
