Theres this fantastic evola line from "metaphysics of sex", idk verbatim but he says monkeys evolved from us via a system of degeneration. (Well for sure not biologically but metaphorically speaking)
Its possible we lose our internal thoughts fitting in, is it a form of devolution since we lose identity? Or maybe an evolution as to fit into the crowd?

Ever since descartes mind/body separation made it so that "artist" preoccupy their drawings on the fictitious, the never expanding corners of ones mind, thats why we see zany furry ocs and artist humor
Modern art on the other hand is too commited to the body, thats why it is all zany theatrics, like the banana taped on the wall

The Mona Lisa kinda perfects it as its a drawing of a (real) cute girl. The body isnt hyper exaggerated like an anime or inflated nor is it blank like a colorless mannequin. So body and mind are not dualistic but monistic
